Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky fired two senior officials on charges of being “traitors” and announced that they would be punished.

Zelensky , who said that generals Andriy Olehovich and Serhiy Oleksandrovich from the Ukraine Security Service “betrayed” their promise to defend the country , took the titles of generals. While this was Zelenski’s first public dismissal since the beginning of the occupation, he gave no further details on the generals’ crimes.

Previously, it was claimed that Denis Kireev, one of the Ukrainian delegation participating in the first round of negotiations with Russia, was accused of treason and executed in Kiev. It was claimed that Russia lost at least 7 of its generals during the war.
