The Google Keep Notes and Lists app gets a breath of fresh air in its interface in its new update, and it’s not because Google has redesigned the app but because they’ve added a new option. to personalize our notes.

Since Google Keep came to our phones over eight years ago, in all those years it has only allowed us to change the color of the note, but as of today it allows us also add a background image.

Add a background image to Google Keep notes

In its update to Google Keep version 5.21.281, the company has gradually started to enable the new background images to personalize our notes and lists. If we have updated Google Keep and when we open a note we see the icon of a palette at the bottom left, it is because we already have this new feature activated.

In total, Google Keep offers us nine very varied background images, such as a swimming pool, a forest, a fireworks display, food or a roller coaster. With these backgrounds our notes will be much more visual.

The background images will also be visible in the notes thumbnail in the main view of Google Keep, thus renewing the interface and allowing us to visually locate certain notes more quickly if we add an associated background image. For example, add a food bottom to our shopping list or the pool bottom to the note with our vacation planning.
