Users of an Android TV or Google TV-based device have a new app to further convert their TV or set-top box into a complete media center. The Vevo app reaches both platforms, bringing the possibility of turning the TV into a music player closer.
Vevo stands out for offering a large number of music videos on its platform. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to be able to listen to music thanks to a huge list of music videos that are now officially coming to Google TV and Android TV.
Your TV is a music player
Vevo has launched its official application for devices with Google TV and Android TV (it can be downloaded from the Play Store) and thus television becomes another source where we can access all the music videos we love. For now, the Vevo app is available for download through the Play Store in Spain, Mexico, United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil.
On the main screen of Vevo for televisions we will see different sections: “Live” or “Direct”, a sort of guide that groups content by theme and which, like a television channel, has hourly programming. Simply select a program to start playing the list of videos that make it up. For now, only three channels appear in Spain, but it is expected that more will be added.
In addition, the “Explore” option appears with which to access more content. A section to discover videos, trends, advertisements… A section designed to facilitate the search for an artist’s content could not be missing, “Search”, where we will also see the most popular artists and videos.
