Xiaomi opens this year 2022 with the launch of its four Xiaomi Redmi Note 11: the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. If you have already seen the names, it is normal, since Xiaomi already launched terminals with these names in China last year, different from the global terminals that we have known today.
Among the new Redmi Note 11s, the most modest of all is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, successor to the Redmi Note 10 4G and aspiring to become one of the best-selling phones of the year. This new generation welcomes the AMOLED screen at 90 Hz.

AMOLED display for everyone
Xiaomi has announced no less than four Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 models at once and they all agree on one thing: mounting an AMOLED screen. It is available even in the most “modest” of them, this Xiaomi Redmi Note 11.
It is a panel with a diagonal of 6.43 inches and a refresh rate of 90 Hz which is seasoned with a touch response speed of 180 Hz. The screen includes the front camera of 13 megapixels in a hole in the center. It’s a screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, but don’t worry if it breaks… a free screen repair service is included for the first six months (valid for one repair).
The cameras don’t change much from the previous generation, both in their layout in the module and in their specifications, although there are a few extra megapixels. It’s a quad camera with a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main lens, with an 8-megapixel wide-angle, 2-megapixel macro sensor and another 2-megapixel sensor for portrait mode.
In the processor there is also a slight change compared to the previous generation. Instead of a Snapdragon 678 we have a Snapdragon 680, so 5G is still missing for now. The terminal is available with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of expandable storage via MicroSD.
There’s no change in the battery either: the 5,000 mAh with 33W fast charging is maintained, which on the other hand isn’t bad at all. The terminal adopts the flat edge design so fashionable today and has a minijack, fingerprint reader on one side and stereo speakers.
