POCO’s first mobile gaming mobile isn’t the brand’s most powerful
The POCO F3 GT is the Xiaomi Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, so it is a model with a 6.67 inch OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate and a small hole in the screen. It has a 10-bit color depth, above POCO F3. The curious thing comes in the processor decision, since they went for the MediaTek Dimensity 1200, a high-end processor, but which is below the Snapdragon 865 in synthetic tests. This means that the POCO F3 GT is less powerful than the POCO F3, but it has several improvements over it.
This edition of POCO has a game-oriented design, bigger battery, haptic triggers, better camera, and software improvements.
The first is his game design, because now he has triggers that will help us a lot while playing. These triggers emerge from the body of the terminal, to protect ourselves when we are not using them. It also has a massive 5,025mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a number well above that of its younger sibling.
There are also improvements to the camera, with a 64-megapixel sensor. It is accompanied by an ultra wide angle and a two megapixel macro sensor, it lacks the 2 megapixel telemacro compared to the POCO F3. Finally, there are optimizations at the software level, with specific functions to improve the gaming experience, although everything is still based on MIUI 12.5 and Android 11.
