Microsoft has launched Windows 11, the company’s new operating system, which can already be tested in development channels and even by downloading the corresponding ISO images. A Windows 11 which is in the test phase and on which Microsoft is now warning, compilations with more bugs will arrive.

So far, it must be taken into account that, despite the fact that it is under development (Windows 11 is a beta version, it is a fairly stable operating system that can be used on a daily basis without problems. Something that may change as the year ends, when Microsoft begins testing the 22H2 branch of Windows 11.

No more errors when preparing the 21H2 branch

The reason why errors can be increased is logical and understandable. And if until now Microsoft had accustomed us to two major updates per year (spring and fall) and other minor ones throughout the year, with Windows 11, they will focus on one ” only major update “and other minor.

This way and when Windows 11 launches in October 2021 (this is the 21H1 branch), Microsoft will start working on the 22H2 branch which should arrive in late 2022, so given that there will be enough left for its launch, it is very possible that offer more bugs than we find so far.

In fact, they notify Insider Program members through an email in which they alert to the risks of running Dev Channel builds, warning that builds with more errors will arrive from the next release of. Windows 11 and incidentally recommend to users who leave the From channel if they just want to try the first version of Windows 11.

In this sense, Microsoft will use the Dev Channel to test experimental functions and will leave the Beta Channel for the next stable version called Windows 11. So far, both channels are related to the version that will be released at the end of the year and for now they offer access to Build 22000.160.
