WICKED LOCAL: Plymouth DPW proposes $34 million water expansion, wells would be at PSHS and Forges Field

There’s plenty of water in Plymouth, but there’s just not enough.

Though Plymouth sits on one of the largest and purest sources of drinking water in Massachusetts – the Plymouth-Carver aquifer – it’s going to take a $34 million dollar expansion to meet the needs of the town’s near-term expected population growth, provide emergency redundancy, and plan for long-term sustainability.
