Apple released the sixth beta of watchOS 8. A version that arrives a few hours later after the launch of the fifth beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and tvOS 15. As this is a sixth beta, we don’t expect to see anything new, but we’re making performance improvements and bug fixes.

Another beta before the fall

The beta cycle continues with the sixth beta of watchOS 8 which, like last week, was slightly behind the launch of the corresponding betas for iOS, iPadOS and tvOS. In the meantime, we are waiting for the arrival of the sixth beta of macOS Monterey. Keeping in mind that this is a beta version, the truth is that at this point in the development of watchOS 8, the system is performing very well.

WatchOS version 8 has some interesting news. New workouts to perform, improvements in sleep tracking, new portrait spheres, and improvements in the Photos app with a new organization system more similar to the iPhone, to name a few. News that polishes from beta to beta.

If we want to enter the beta cycle, we can do so by following these steps, but keep in mind that we are talking about development builds that contain errors.

Already in the beta cycle we will find the update in the Settings app as an OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple servers may receive more demand than usual, so the wait time may be extended. In Applesfera we are already updating our devices and will update the article if any news appears.
