WatchOS 8 Beta 5 now available for developers

Apple has just released the fifth beta of watchOS 8. A version that arrives with some delay after the launch of the fifth beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and tvOS 15. In the case of a fifth beta of watchOS , we don’t expect to see any news, but there are performance improvements and bug fixes.

Beta to beta the final version is reached

After a little over two months of beta testing the new operating systems, we can say that these are, without a doubt, the most stable beta releases we’ve seen to date. You’ve really seen a big change in stability with the beta of iOS 14, but iOS 15 and the rest of this year’s beta take it a step further. That said, we must not lose sight of the fact that this is a beta. There are some bugs especially in the watchOS interface, for example when receiving certain types of notifications.

WatchOS version 8 has some interesting news. New workouts to perform, improvements in sleep tracking, new portrait spheres, and improvements in the Photos app with a new organization system more similar to the iPhone, to name a few. News that is tweaked from beta to beta.

If we want to enter the beta cycle, we can do so by following these steps, but keep in mind that we are talking about development builds that contain errors.

Already in the beta cycle we will find the update in the Settings app as an OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple servers may receive more demand than usual, so the wait time may be extended. In Applesfera we are already updating our devices and we will update the article if any news appears.
