Vivo has just announced a new mobile within the more modest Y series, the new Vivo Y33s. It’s a terminal halfway between entry-level and mid-range, without much fanfare, although with a good design and a few advantages.

The Vivo Y33s relies on the Helio G80 from MediaTek, so it is a 4G terminal. It stands out for its triple camera with a main sensor of 50 megapixels and for its large battery, which supports fast charging of 18W.

Lots of battery and 50 mega-pixel camera

Vivo continues to fill the ranks of its cheaper terminals with the arrival of the new Vivo Y33, which opts for a design with straight edges compared to its closest relative, the more rounded Vivo Y31 2021. This edge is exactly 8 millimeters .

The Vivo Y33s has an LCD screen with a diagonal of 6.58 inches and a Full HD + resolution. The refresh resolution remains at 60Hz for life on this screen which integrates the front camera into a drop-shaped notch.

For photography, the Vivo Y33s is a little better armed than one would expect in a mobile of its range. On the front, it incorporates a 16-megapixel portrait camera with an f / 2.0 aperture in the notch.

Behind, the Vivo Y33s repeats the module for cameras with the already classic Vivo design, where all the space is taken by the main 50-megapixel sensor. It is accompanied by two other lenses: a macro sensor and a portrait sensor, both of 2 megapixels.

The power of the Vivo Y33s is marked by MediaTek’s ambitious 4G processor, the Helio G80. It is fairly well accompanied by RAM, with 8 GB of RAM accompanied by 4 GB of virtual memory. The available storage is 128 GB.

The Vivo Y33s is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The fingerprint reader is located on one of its sides in this terminal which includes the NFC and a headphone jack with FM radio.
