UAE has fired two ballistic missiles fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels targeting Abu Dhabi. As soon as the missile defense system was activated, the destruction in the capital stopped. The fighting between the Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led Gulf faction has been going on for six years. This struggle is getting more intense now.
The UAE has now retaliated after Houthi rebels targeted the UAE. UAE carried out air strikes on Houthi rebel strongholds with the help of F-16 fighter jets. Reports claimed that the UAE targeted a missile launch site of Houthi rebels in Yemen. No casualties have been reported from ballistic missiles fired in the United Arab Emirates. Reports claimed that the United Arab Emirates’ retaliatory airstrikes destroyed the Houthi rebel missile launch site.
The UAE Ministry of Defense also released a video of the airstrikes in Yemen. The air strike scenes were taken with drones. Earlier, Saudi Arabia carried out airstrikes on Houthi rebel strongholds near the Yemeni port of Hudeidah.
Earlier, Houthi rebels attacked a petroleum depot in Abu Dhabi. The airport was also attacked. Two Indians and a Pakistani national were killed and six others were injured in the explosion of three petroleum tankers.
