Two arrested in Manomet for alleged drug deal

Two Plymouth men were arrested at the Manomet Stop and Shop following an alleged heroin deal, Saturday night.

According to Captain John Rogers, police saw Justin Patricelli, 35, of Mayflower Street sitting in his car and texting in the parking lot, at around 8 p.m. A second car, Rogers said, pulled up and Patricelli got in. Officers then approached that car and reportedly found Patricelli and another man engaged in a drug deal. Police, according to Rogers, found heroin, cash, a spoon and needles in the second car.

Police arrested Patricelli and Matthew Skiver, 39, of Mayflower Street, Patricelli was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, conspiracy to violate controlled substances laws and possession of a class A substance. Skiver was charged with possession of a class A substance, conspiracy to violate controlled substances laws and possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute.
