Two arrested after crashing car into house

Two people from Manomet were arrested Sunday afternoon in North Plymouth after allegedly crashing their car into a house on Savery’s Lane.

According to Captain John Rogers, Mezfin Clary, 25 of Patriot Circle was arrested for assault and battery after he allegedly struck the homeowner, who had come out to find out what happened. Clary was also charged with disorderly conduct, as was a 28-year-old Patriot Circle woman who was in the car with him. Police could not bring motor vehicle charges since officers were unable to determine who was driving, Rogers said.

The victim, a 53-year-old woman was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital with minor injuries. There was no damage to the house.
