TP-Link has announced the launch in Spain of the Archer AX20, its new economical router with dual-band WiFi 6 connectivity designed for users who need to upgrade their wireless network with the latest communication protocols but do not want spend a small fortune.

With the typical flattened rectangular format in black and 4 large antennas located on the back, this model incorporates technologies such as Beamforming, OFDMA and Target Wake Time to deliver greater signal strength with lower latency and power consumption. reduced energy, reaching a maximum speed of 1.8 Gbps.

Inside we find a 4-core processor that is responsible for the general operation of the equipment as well as the management of the aforementioned Target Wake Time system, a technology that increases the battery life of mobile devices connected to the router, reducing its power consumption when not using the network.

Like the rest of the manufacturer’s new generation equipment, this model is compatible with OneMesh technology to establish and be part of a mesh or Mesh network with a unique name and a roaming or intelligent node change throughout the house.

The Archer X20 also includes support for WPA3 wireless encryption protocol, installation, configuration and control from the TP-Link Tether app for mobiles and tablets and comes with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections.

In addition, a USB 2.0 port has been included for sharing files over the network or creating private cloud storage.

Pricing and availability

The new TP-Link Archer AX20 router is already on sale in Spain for a maximum recommended price of 99 euros, although it is already available in stores at around 73 euros.
