Three arrested in Manomet heroin bust

 

Plymouth police arrested three people on drugs and weapons charges late Monday morning in Manomet.

According to Captain John Rogers, police raided the house on Indian Avenue following a months-long investigation. Two men, Dennis MaCeachern, 23, Toney Moore, 27, and one women, Rachel Colameco, 28, were arrested.

Police, Rogers said, found heroin and several hundred dollars in cash. They also found scales, cutting agents and packaging material, he said. Two handguns, a 38 caliber revolver and a 25 caliber semi-automatic pistol were found in the back yard.

A 7-year-old child was also at the home when police arrived. The child was not related to any of the suspects and was returned to a parent. The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families as notified.

The suspects were arrested without incident, Rogers said.

All three were charged with possession of a class A substance, possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate controlled substances laws, possession of a firearm without an FID card, reckless endangerment to children under 18 and improper storage of a firearm. Colameco was also charged with possession of a class C substance and possession of a class E substance.

MaCeachern and Moore were held on $10,000 bail. Colameco was held on $1,500 bail. All three were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning in Plymouth District Court.
