Panasonic expands its line of LCD televisions with the JX700 and JX600 series which are added to the models launched in 2021. New models for two new series of LED televisions equipped with Android TV as operating system which arrive with the aim of competing in the mid-range of the market.
The new models are below the JX800 range that we already know and with Android TV, the new models rely on Google Assistant built into the remote control, compatibility with video streaming applications, 4K image with HDR and l ‘Dolby Atmos audio.
Panasonic’s JX700 series televisions feature an almost invisible bezel design for models available in 75, 65, 55, 50 and 43 inch diagonals.
These models use a 4K Ultra HD LED panel compatible with various HDR (High Dynamic Range) formats such as HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG. Options to enjoy content from platforms such as Disney +, Netflix, HBO, Movistar, Amazon Prime Video or YouTube.
Along with the image enhancements, Panasonic introduced Dolby Atmos support on these models. Models with four HDMI 2.0 inputs and a built-in Chromecast that allows users to connect their phone, tablet or laptop to send or share movies, programs, apps or games.
The new JX600 series models have 4K Ultra HD resolution LED LCD panels and, like the JX700 series, have Android TV as the operating system, making them compatible with applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube or Twitch. . Models arriving in 65, 58, 55, 50 and 43 inches
The JX600 series allows the use of voice commands via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, so that the TV can be controlled with any compatible device.
A range focused on video games, because it has the game mode, which improves the configuration of the screen to adapt to the intensity of the game, thus reducing image latency.
This range supports HDR standards such as Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG and built-in Dolby Atmos audio processing to take advantage of object-based audio from movies and video games.
Pricing and availability
Panasonic’s JX700 series televisions will arrive in 75, 65, 55, 50 and 43 inch diagonals, in silver and metallic black starting this fall. For its part, the JX600 series televisions will be available after the summer with a dark titanium finish in 65, 58, 55, 50 and 43 inches. On prices for the moment, we do not have more information.
