Microsoft will be releasing a new version of Outlook for iOS and Android and in this update the main improvement is the one that will allow us to pin (pin) the emails we have received. The goal is clear: that they do not get lost in the tangle of messages of all kinds that we may receive.
This way, users will have an easier time being able to follow the conversations even if time passes and other emails arrive later, since those items that we have pinned can also be easily located using the filter. search in the upper right corner.
To use this option, just tap the “Pinned” filter on the desired email in the message list when we are using any of the swipe gestures and in this way you can pin those messages or, if necessary, detach them if they no longer interest them.
This improvement is not unique to mobile versions, however, as pinned messages will appear at the top of the message list for other Outlook clients that support PIN, such as Outlook on the web.
This improvement should start to be implemented in the coming days in the version of Outlook downloadable in the App Store and in the Google Play Store.
