Realme wants to be the flag bearer in Android territory by incorporating the magnetic wireless charging technology that we saw implemented in the iPhone 12 last year under the name MagSafe.

First of all, this technology was registered under the name of MagDart and now Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, has confirmed the launch of the new Realme Flash, which will become the first Android phone to incorporate this technology.

Up to 15W charging and built-in fan to prevent overheating

A recent report published by GSMArena shows us that the Realme Flash will be the first phone from the Chinese firm to integrate the so-called MagDart technology. This would operate very similar to Apple’s Magsafe, mounting a circular coil on the back of the phone that would facilitate its operation.

The MagDart will be a magnetic accessory that will be placed on the back of our smartphone in a magnetized way, which will admit charging speeds of up to 15W and which integrates a small fan as heat dissipation to avoid problems related to the overheating of the l ‘device.

In the first leaked images of this charger, we can see that it will integrate a USB Type-C connection to perform the charge, and it shows a rather bulky design, far from the minimalism that we saw with the Apple option.

On the other hand, if we talk about the phone itself, everything indicates that the new Realme Flash will be a high-end phone, incorporating the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor as well as versions that will reach 12 GB of RAM and up to 256. GB of internal storage.

As of yet, Realme has not confirmed the phone’s official launch date but, as teasers about it gain more and more force, it wouldn’t be surprising if we don’t have to wait too long. to find out what the company has in store for a new flagship product.
