According to all rumors, we expect Apple to launch the new iPhone SE 3 this spring. Spring, however, covers a long period of time, so we don’t know exactly when it will arrive. The latest rumors from the assembly line, however, tell us about late April or early May.

A possible keynote mid-April

According to consulted supply chain sources, Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants, says the supply chain is starting production of panels for these new iPhones. Based on this information, Young estimates that production of the iPhones themselves will begin in March. This, in turn, leads us to think of a release during the second half of April or early May.

The information matches that published by Mark Gurman himself, who states that Apple will hold a virtual keynote in March or April to announce the new iPhone SE 3 and the new iPad Air. Looking at the supply chain data and getting into the realm of guesswork, it looks like the launch event could take place earlier in mid-April than late March.

In any case, remember that between the presentation and the sale of the device, a few weeks may pass. With this, the truth is that we will have no choice but to wait for the invitation to the event to have clear information about the company’s projects.

There are still many unknowns to resolve regarding this spring’s event. Among other things, we don’t know what else Apple might present during this one. Undoubtedly, the iPad Air and iPhone SE 3 are the most interesting, but, at least at first glance, that doesn’t seem like much to fill an entire Keynote. Which is good news, no doubt.
