Last May, we were able to analyze the Motorola Moto G50, a mid-range mobile with great autonomy. It is an economical proposition from Motorola below 300 euros, but lacks 5G connectivity.
To complete the catalog, Motorola will launch, according to the latest leaks, a 5G revision of this phone, with a new processor and new specifications, connectivity being the main protagonist.
MediaTek core and 5G connectivity
Motorola Moto G50 5G, according to leaks
The Motorola Moto G50 is a terminal that came to the market with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480, a processor that will be renewed by the MediaTek Dimensity 700U, one of the Asian company’s most popular 5G solutions.
There will be changes in the processor, although the RAM will continue from 4 GB, a somewhat rare configuration.
This processor, according to the leak, will be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, a configuration a bit tight and even less than the Moto G50, which starts with 128 GB of memory. It will also be lost in battery, which will drop from 5,000 mAh to 4,700 mAh.
The screen will remain with IPS technology and HD + resolution, 1600 x 720 pixels, one of the weakest points of the Moto G50 and that this generation will repeat itself if the rumors come true. Of course, the refresh rate should repeat itself with 90Hz.
At the photographic level, a triple 48 + 5 + 2 megapixel camera is expected, in addition to a 13 megapixel selfie camera. In short, a new phone with a different processor to benefit from 5G connectivity. There is no release date, but it should be hitting the market soon.
