WICKED LOCAL: NRC declines invitation to come to Plymouth and explain the ‘inadvertent’ release of Pilgrim Station memo

They got their apology, but the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) declined the selectmen’s invitation to come to Tuesday night’s meeting and explain both the miscue that resulted in an internal document being released to the public and the suggestion – inferred from that document – that Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station was not being operated in a safe manner. Public records show that on three occasions Pinehills LLC, the corporation that owns the housing development off Clark Road, violated the tenets of Massachusetts General Law 61. Watering ban reinstated

The continued lack of rain means that the town of Plymouth has reinstated watering restrictions that had been scaled back only a few days ago.
