Camera test leads to larceny arrest

Police arrested a Manomet woman for larceny after her alleged theft from a North Plymouth home was caught on camera. According to Captain John Rogers, a Cushman Street homeowner was testing a security camera when he reportedly saw  footage of Samantha Derendal, 34, of White Horse Road taking several vinyl records. Manomet man arrested for attempted murder

A Priscilla Beach man is charged with attempted murder following an incident early Friday morning in North Plymouth. According to Lieutenant Dana Flynn, Cody Doane, 26, of Cochituate Road was arrested on Forest Avenue after allegedly firing a gun at a car. Doane, Flynn said, allegedly approached a car parked at the corner of Forest Avenue and Court Street. He then asked the cars occupants what they were doing in the neighborhood. Beaver Dam Road woman arrested in heroin raid

Plymouth police arrested three people, including a Manomet woman, following a search of a home in North Plymouth. According to Captain John Rogers, detectives searched an apartment on Prince Street following what he called a months-long investigation into alleged heroin dealing at the location. Plymouth man arrested for OUI after stopping in Pine Hills

A North Plymouth man may have picked a bad time to run out of gas. According to Captain John Rogers, police found David Barker III, pulled up on the northbound side of State Road in the Pine Hills, Friday night around 8:45 p.m. His front wheels were on the grass and his rear wheels were in the road, Rogers added. Rocky Hill Road man faces charges after North Plymouth fight

t which started at a North Plymouth restaurant, and finished in a house on =
Spooner Street, ended up with two people, including a Manomet man, under ar=
rest.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>According to Capt. John Rogers, Brian Finlay, 28, of R=
ocky Hill Road got into a shoving match with another person after Finlay al=
legedly made racist remarks. Finlay then fled to a house on Spooner Street.=
He was chased by Theodore Rose, 28, of Forest Street.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>When they got there, Finlay, who is white, stabbed Ros=
e, who is black, in the left arm with a knife.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Finlay was eventually arrested on charges of assault a=
nd battery with a dangerous weapon, armed assault with intent to murder, an=
d a civil rights violation. He was also found to have outstanding warrants =
for attempting to commit a crime, malicious destruction of propety and thre=
atening to commit a crime.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Rose, who allegedly broke into the house Finlay went t=
o, was later charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felo=
ny, disturbing the peace, and aggravated assault and battery. &#0160;&l=
