PSHS student honored for presentation on homelessness

Plymouth South High School marketing student Alec Medeiros received a Certificate of Excellence for his Public Relations project with his campaign, “Ending the Stigma (Against Homelessness)” at the  DECA’s International Career Development Conference, held April 25 to 30,  in Anaheim, California. The team of Brianna Johnson, Nicole Mullally, and Allysia Tavekelian competed in the School Based Enterprises-Food Operations category with their presentation of The House (school store) and its promotions of cold brew coffee. Plymouth South marketing students go to Utah, strike gold

<p dir=3D”ltr”>Plymouth South High School=E2=80=99s Jameson Giamo was=
a finalist in the area of Professional Sales Presentation at the Internati=
onal Marketing Competition in Salt Lake City held April 27 to May 3. &#=
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Nicole Chandler and Alex Josephson received medals for=
placing in the top 10 in for their presentation of unique operations of a =
school based enterprise. &#0160;They competed against 155 other school =
stores from across the country. Aydan Carver received a gold medal for test=
ing in the area of professional sales presentation.</p>
<p>Plymouth South sent 19 marketing students to the event and 17 rece=
ived certificates of excellence in their area.</p>
