Manomet area man arrested for OUI

A Farnham Drive man was arrested for the second time on a drunk driving charge Saturday morning. According to Capt. John Rogers, an officer in an unmarked cruiser reportedly spotted Harris Klaus, 25, driving erratically on Route 3 near exit 5 in a 2001 Buick Century. Klaus was stopped and allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was charged with marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence, 2nd offense. Seaview Drive man arrested for OUI

A Manomet man was arrested for drunk driving after allegedly hitting a telephone pole on State Road late Tuesday night. According to Capt. John Rogers, a patrolman was monitoring traffic at Four Corners when he heard a loud banging and scraping. He reportedly found a truck parked haphazardly in the parking lot of 7-Eleven. The driver, Stephen Hackett, 32, of Seaview Drive was, Rogers said, sitting in the vehicle, smoking a cigarette. He was also allegedly intoxicated, based on the officer’s investigation. Out of town visitor finds wrong place for a nap

A New York man was arrested for drunk driving Sunday evening after police found him, apparently napping, in the Plymouth South High School parking lot. According to Capt. John Rogers, officers were responding to a report of a vehicle that had been parked at the school for half an hour. Police allegedly found Matthew O’Leary, 39, of East Patchogue, N.Y., slumped over in his car. The engine was running and the radio playing, Rogers said. OUI arrest in Manomet Sunday night

A Bourne Road man was arrested for drunk driving late Sunday night. According to Capt. John Rogers, Michael Queenan, 21, was allegedly spotted driving on State Road without his headlights or plate lights when he was pulled over by police. The officer reportedly determined he was drunk. Cape Cod woman faces OUI charge

A Marstons Mills woman will be summonsed to court on a drunk driving charge after allegedly causing an accident on Clark Road Saturday night. According to Capt. John Rogers, Jennifer Michaels, 42, was traveling northeast on Clark Road Saturday, allegedly in the wrong lane and with the headlights off. A 45-year-old  Plymouth woman traveling in the opposite direction was forced to swerve out of the way, but the two cars sideswiped each other. Double drunk driving stops on Sunday

on Sunday.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>According to Capt. John Rogers, police were called to =
Manomet Point Road by a report of a vehicle stopped with its flashers on. T=
here they found Suzanne Czarnionka, 49, of Derry, New Hampshire. She was al=
legedly drunk. Czarnionka was charged with OUI and operating a motor vehicl=
e with a revoked license. She also had an outstanding warrant out of the Or=
leans District Court for failing to vaccinate her pet.</p>

Two arrested for OUI on State Road

<p dir=3D”ltr”>Plymouth police made two drunk driving arrests in Mano=
met over the weekend.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Early Saturday morning, police came across Andrew Simo=
ns, 26, of Hillside Avenue asleep in his car along State Road south of Indi=
an Brook. According to Capt. John Rogers, the officer reportedly determined=
Simons was intoxicated and placed him under arrest.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>He was charged with operating under the influence and =
released on his own recognizance.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>In the second case, police were alerted to reports of =
a car swerving along State Road, Sunday evening. An officer came across a c=
ar pulled up off the road on Pond Avenue.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>According to Rogers, the driver, Carlos Alejandro, 38,=
of Wareham Avenue, was allegedly intoxicated. He was charged with operatin=
g under the influence and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended licens=
e.</p>

Not so happy birthday for alleged drunk driver

g his 21st birthday, Thursday night.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>According to Capt. John Rogers, a car, driven by Kevin=
C. Johnson, was reported traveling erratically on State Road heading south=
over the Pine Hills. He stopped at the 7-Eleven on State Road, where an of=
ficer reportedly determined he was intoxicated.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Johnson was charged with a marked lanes violation and =
operating under the influence of liquor. He was released on his own recogni=

Manomet man arrested for drunk driving

<p>A Highland Avenue man was arrested for drunk driving after reporte=
dly being seen swerving between lanes on State Road early Monday morning.&l=
t;/p>
<p>Sean Carey, 23, was charged with operating under the influence of =
liquor and marked lanes violation. He was released on his own recognizance.=
</p>
<p>According to Capt. John Rogers, police received a report of an err=
atic driver, who was allegedly crossing the double yellow line and driving =
on the shoulder. When he was stopped, the officer reportedly determined he =
was drunk and placed him under arrest.</p>

Drunk driving arrest in MacDonald’s drive-thorugh

police found him passed out in the drive-through lane at MacDonald=E2=80=
=99s on Samoset Street.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>According to Capt. John Rogers, Jason C. Davis, 33, wa=
s found around 1 a.m. Saturday morning by police. The car was in drive, but=
Davis=E2=80=99 foot was on the brake. After rousting Davis, the officer to=
ld him to put the car in park.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Davis allegedly showed signs of intoxication and had a=
n open bottle of rum. He was charged with operating under the influence of =
liquor and drinking from an open container of alcohol.</p>

Pair of drunk driving arrests in Manomet on Saturday

Police nabbed a pair of alleged drunk drivers within an hour of each other early Saturday morning in Manomet. At around 2:40 a.m.. police received a report of an erratic driver near Plantation Highway. An officer spotted the car crossing the line, and pulled it over, Capt. John Rogers said. Two arrested for OUI on State Road

A single-car accident, caused by an alleged drunk driver, led to the arrest of a second person on the same charges.According to Capt. John Rodgers, police were called with a report of an erratic driver heading north at high speed near the High Point Treatment center on State Road. The car flipped over and the driver, Michael Creed, 21, of Plymouth was taken to Jordan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Police determined Creed had been driving while impaired and charged him with OUI, according to Rogers.At 10:17 p.m., about an hour later, a driver failed to stop for an officer directing traffic at the first incident.  Police were able to stop the car and found that the operator, Marie Gillis, of Evergreen Drive, was impaired. She was arrested and charged with OUI, Rogers said.Gillis was later released on her own recognizance. Continue Reading →
