Two people died of for possibly drug related reasons Saturday in Manomet and South Plymouth. Overdose death reported in Manomet

A Long Pond man died at a Boston hospital following an apparent drug overdose on Fresh Pond Circle, early Sunday morning. According to Captain John Rogers, the man, 28,  reportedly arrived at the house around  2:45 a.m. already impaired. A resident of the house called for an ambulance. Medics, Rogers said, gave the man Narcan. He was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth before being moved to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Continue Reading →

Two charged in pot bust at PSHS

A Plymouth South High School student was arrested for allegedly selling marijuana in the school cafeteria, Thursday afternoon. According to Captain John Rogers, two students were allegedly observed exchanging a bag of marijuana.  Luis Cordero, 18, of Wildflower Lane was charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate controlled substances laws and a drug violation near a school or park. State Road accident leads to OUI arrest

A West Plymouth woman was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs following a minor accident in Manomet, Saturday morning. According to Captain John Rogers, Cynthia Turcott, 37, of Musket Road, was driving a car which rear-ended a second car on State Road. Guns and drugs found in Plymouth hotel room

A Fairview Lane man was one of two people arrested on weapons and drug charges at a Plymouth hotel, Thursday afternoon. According to Captain John Rogers, police received information that a guest at the Hilton Garden Inn had a gun. When police went to the guest’s room they found a 9 millimeter handgun with more than 10 rounds of ammunition in it, allegedly in plain sight, Rogers said. (more…) Continue Reading →

Plymouth police arrested three people on drugs and weapons charges late Monday morning in Manomet. According to Captain John Rogers, police raided the house on Indian Avenue following a months-long investigation. Heroin suspected in death of Patriot Circle woman

A Patriot Circle woman, 56, died of a suspected heroin overdose Friday night. According to Captain John Rogers, police who had been called to the scene initiated CPR until emergency medical technicians arrived. A Manomet woman was arrested on suspicion of dealing heroin in West Plymouth, Friday night. According to Captain John Rogers, members of the Narcotics and Street Crimes units were doing surveillance at the Tedeschi’s on South Meadow Road when they reportedly saw narcotics being exchanged by people in two cars. Man arrested on State Road for driving while high

<p>A late-night drive with no headlights resulted in a Turnberry Driv=
e man being arrested for allegedly driving while on heroin.</p>
<p>According to Capt. John Rogers, police responded to reports of a s=
mall, dark, SUV traveling erratically, with the headlights off but a direct=
ional signal on, along State Road over the Pine Hills. The driver, Douglas =
Harvey, 45, was pulled over.</p>
<p>The arresting officer reportedly found packaging with heroin resid=
ue and determined Harvey had injected the drug. He was charged with OUI, ne=
gligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of a class A substance.=

Three arrested in Manomet on drug charges

<p>Three people were arrested on Manomet Point Road after drugs were =
found in the house.</p>
<p>According to Capt. John Rogers, probation officers and police were=
checking in on two people, one of whom had a warrant for his arrest. Polic=
e discovered marijuana and a syringe with heroin residue on it.</p>
<p>Abigail Cappola, 21, was charged with possession of heroin. &#=
0160;Allison Cappola, 21, and Kevin Cameron, 22, &#0160;who lived at th=
e address, were charged with being present where they knew heroin was being=
kept. &#0160;Cameron was also arrested on a warrant for possession of =
a class A substance and Allison Cappola was arrested on a warrant for distr=
ibution of a class A substance and cited for poession of marijuana under an=
ounce.</p>
<p>Both Cappolas live on Raymond Road.</p>

Manomet couple charged with dealing heroin

<p>&#0160;&#0160;&#0160;&#0160;A Strand Avenue couple=
were arrested Tuesday night for allegedly dealing heroin out of their hous=
e.</p>
<p>&#0160;&#0160;&#0160;&#0160;According to Capt. Joh=
n Rogers, detectives searched the home of Johnathan Balutis-Brown, 22, and =
Ashley Eaton, 20. They reportedly found heroin, Xanax and Ibuprofen. The am=
ount of the latter was in quantities that can only be sold by prescription.=
</p>
<p>Rogers said the raid took place after an investigation that lasted=
several weeks.</p>
<p>Both are charged with possession of a class A substance with inten=
t to distribute, possession of a class A substance, conspiracy to violate c=
ontrolled substances laws and committing a drug violation near a school or =
park. The Leap Frog Preschool is located nearby.</p>
<p>Eaton is also charged with possession of class C and class E subst=
ances for the prescription medications.</p>

Plymouth police arrests and log for February 17 to February 21

<p><strong>Manomet man arrested on drug charge.</strong>&=
lt;/p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>A 24-year-old Fresh Pond Circle man was arrested durin=
g a drug bust at the Myles Standish Plaza on Samoset Street.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>According to Capt. Bruce McNamee, a man was allegedly =
seen by detectives shooting heroin into his arm while sitting in a parked c=
ar. &#0160;When police approached the Jeep Cherokee they found four peo=
ple, as well as, allegedly, a variety of narcotics, needles and paraphernal=
ia.</p>
<p>Four people were charged with various drug possession offenses, in=
cluding the Manomet resident who was charged with possession of a class A s=
ubstance. All the suspects were released on their own recognizance.<br /=

Manomet woman faces charges after head-on collision

A White Horse Beach woman will be summonsed to court after an accident on South Street sent her, and another driver, to the hospital. According to Capt. John Rogers, Barbara Cameron, 21, of Beach Street, was traveling west in a Chevy Blazer on South Street Monday evening at around 5:30. Reportedly, she drifted into the other lane, hitting a Honda CRV driven by a 81-year-old Plymouth woman head-on. An investigation at Jordan Hospital allegedly showed that Cameron had consumed narcotics. Rogers did not know for certain what they were. Continue Reading →

Carver man arrested on drug charges

A Carver man faces several charges after his allegedly reckless driving caught the attention of a Plymouth police officer. According to Capt. John Rogers, an officer patrolling the area of Beaver Dam Road Friday night spotted a car being driven by Michael Newcomb of Everett Street in Carver, do a sudden reverse with the wheels spinning on Manomet Beach Boulevard. He then pulled into the 7-Eleven on State Road. While Newcomb went into the store, the officer spoke with a juvenile passenger in the car. The officer reportedly found signs of drug use. Drug arrest on Manomet Point Road

Two Plymouth residents face numerous drug charges after an arrest in Manomet Sunday night.According to Police Capt. John Rodgers, an officer observed a vehicle on State Road with an expired inspection sticker. The officer pulled the car over on Manomet Point Road. The car was being driven by Rylan Coulstring, 30, of 48 Minuteman Lane. His passenger was Jade Antonellis, 26, of 5 Hilltop Ave.According to Rogers, the officer found a quantity of what was believed to be heroin, as well as numerous prescription drugs, including Suboxene, Diazapram and Xanax.  He also found packaging and other material consistent with an intent to distribute the drugs.
