Manomet man arrested in stabbing outside church

A Manomet man is under arrest for attempted murder after getting into a fight in Plymouth Center. James Carroll, 31, allegedly slashed and stabbed another man outside of the Church of the Pilgrimage, Monday afternoon, according to Capt. John Rogers. The victim, 51, had superficial wounds to his shoulder and throat. He was taken to Jordan Hospital. The two reportedly started fighting over a female acquaintance. Continue Reading →

UPDATED: Arrest made in connection with St. Bonaventure fire

Police have in custody a Long Pond Road man they are calling "a person of interest" in the fire at St. Bonaventure Church on Monday. According to Capt. John Rogers, Henry Mahon, 19, was arrested Monday night and was found in possession of items that had been stolen from the church, including a laptop computer, iPod, camera and some checks. Rogers declined to say how they connected Mahon to the fire. Mahon was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony, two counts of receiving stolen property, forgery of a check and uttering a false instruments. Continue Reading →

Saint Bonaventure passes Conservation Commission test

not require any additional permits to build an expanded parking lot, the p=

<p>Matt Varrell of Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. told the commission =
