A Pembroke Road man is under arrest after allegedly smashing his SUV into another vehicle on Manomet Heights, Monday morning

Corey Whitecotton, 48,  was arguing with another man at about 7:45 a.m. on Elm Street when he allegedly got into his Dodge Durango and smashed into the side of the other man’s Chevy work van, according to Lieutenant Dana Flynn. Manomet man charged with two counts of assault

Two people are under arrest, and one is in the hospital,  following a fight on Patriot Circle, Monday evening. According to Captain John Rogers, police responded to a call about two men fighting in the street at Patriot Circle at around 6:30 p.m.  Michael McStay, 48, of Patriot Circle had allegedly assaulted a 48-year-old Plymouth woman by picking her up and throwing her to the pavement, Rogers said. A Wareham man, 23,  then reportedly intervened. McStay allegedly threatened him with  knife and, in self-defense, the Wareham man punched McStay, sending him to the pavement. As a result, McStay suffered a head injury and was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. Continue Reading →

Pembroke man charged with assaulting high point staff

A Pembroke man was arrested after allegedly assaulting two staff people at the High Point Treatment Center in Manomet, Thursday afternoon. Barry Sylvester, 47, was being discharged from the facility due to his allegedly combative behavior while a patient there, Lieutenant Dana Flynn said. Four arrested following fight in South Plymouth

Four men are under arrest following a fight at a Clifford Road home, Monday night. According to Captain John Rogers, police were first called to the home at around 8:40 p.m. by a mother  who was allegedly concerned a group of men were coming to fight her son. Manomet man who wanted loan repaid gets van smashed instead

Two Plymouth men were arrested on assault charges following a dispute over money, Tuesday night. According to Captain John Rogers, the incident started when the alleged victim, who had loaned one of the suspects some money, met with the pair on Old Sandwich Road. He expected, Rogers said, to learn when he’d finally be repaid. Instead Christopher Askin, 21, of Crabtree Road and Erik Dempsey, 20, of Stafford Street, reportedly threatened the alleged victim with a log and wrench, respectively. Manomet man charged with assaulting police officers

A Tide View Path man is under arrest for assaulting two police officers following an incident on that street, Sunday night. According to Captain John Rogers, police were called to a disturbance there at around 9 p.m. They found, he said, a man lying on the ground, bleeding from the head. Standing over him, Rogers said, was Eric Eddy, 27. When police approached him, he allegedly fled and when caught attacked one of the arresting officers. Two arrested following alleged fight near Saint Bonaventure

For the second time in two days, police arrested a man who allegedly chose to start a fight in full view of the police. According to Captain John Rogers, a police supervisor travelling north on State Road near Saint Bonaventure Church at around 5 a.m. on Friday came upon Andrew Falkowski, 19, of State Road walking in the middle of the street. After ordering him to get on the sidewalk, a second man, Damien Chapman, 20, of Skylark Lane arrived and reportedly attacked Falkowski as the officer, who had his lights flashing and was in uniform, watched, Rogers said. Manomet man arrested after cops witness alleged assault

A Tide View Path man was arrested on assault and weapon charges following an alleged altercation, witnessed by police, on State Road in the area of the Mayflower Package Store, Wednesday night. According to Captain John Rogers, members of the Plymouth Police Street Crimes Unit were in the area when they saw James Ross, 26, walking along the road at around 10:45 p.m. A 25-year-old Plymouth man got out of a car parked in the area and confronted Ross, who allegedly punched him in the face, Rogers said.  As police moved to intervene, a second man, an 18-year-old from Bourne, got out of the car. Bartlett Road man charged with attempted murder

A Manomet man faces multiple felony accounts after allegedly assaulting a female companion on Manomet Point Road Friday night. According to Captain John Rogers the incident began after the alleged victim, a 24-year-old Plymouth woman got into an argument with her companion, Scott Hale, 31, of Bartlett Road at a gathering on Manomet Point Road. High Point staffer assaulted

A patient at the High Point Treatment Center in the Pinehills faces multiple charges after allegedly attacking a staffer. According to Captain John Rogers, the suspect allegedly attempted to strangle the male staff person with a towel. He also reportedly threatened to kill the man. The suspect, who police have not identified, has been summonsed to court on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and threatening to commit a crime. Continue Reading →

ons. The woman, Jacquelynn Mason, 24, claimed her boyfriend, Brian Trosuk, =

Manomet man allegedly threw bleach at woman

fice in Cordage Park has led to the arrest of a White Horse Beach man suspe=
cted of committing a brutal attack on a local woman.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>John Rosata, 54, of Taylor Avenue was arrested Thursda=
y after the hospital staff heard a message he left the previous night, Acco=
rding to Capt. John Rogers, Rosata called to complain he had been hit with =
a baseball bat, but staffers, who heard the message Thursday morning, could=
hear what sounded like a distressed woman in the background.</p>
<p dir=3D”ltr”>Police allege Rosata punched the victim, hit her with =
what Rogers described as a metal stove tool and &#0160;threw bleach at =
her. He also reportedly kept her from calling police.</p>

Manomet man charged with two assault counts

A Fresh Pond Circle resident is under arrest for assault and battery, and assault with a dangerous weapon. Geidson Reis, 28, was charged after an incident involving a woman. According to Capt. John Rogers, he slapped her, and later she was struck by the side-view mirror of his car as he was trying to leave. Reis is a Brazilian immigrant.
