Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G starts updating to Android 12 with One UI 4.0

Samsung seems to have taken stock of Android 12, so the update hits a new terminal almost every week. After doing the same with the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A72 and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, it is now the turn of the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has started receiving the update to Android 12 with One UI 4.0 in South Korea, so it should be ready for the rest of the regions in the coming weeks.

Updates from Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G to Android 12

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G launched in August of last year, a few months after Android 12 was made official. So there was Android 11 inside with One UI 3.1 on top, which didn’t slow to become obsolete. The good news is that the update was not long in coming.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is a first cousin of the Galaxy A52, so it was to be expected that its update would not take too long, after the update arrived on this model last week. Interestingly, Samsung didn’t mention the Samsung Galaxy A52 in its update schedule for Spain.

Anyway, the new features of Android 12 and those of One UI 4 are now available for owners of a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, first in Korea. This is firmware version A528NKSS1BUL7 and includes the December security patch.

As always, firmware is already available from Sammobile for the South Korean SM-A528N, but not yet for the global SM-A528B. You can follow the progress in the firmware section of Sammobile, as well as manually check if it reaches your mobile later, from the system settings.
