State police arrested a South Plymouth man in connection with a road rage incident involving the operators of two vehicles on Route 3 Northbound near exit 5 in Plymouth, Sunday afternoon.
According to a press release from the state police, troopers stopped the two vehicles and conducted an investigation. The investigation led to the arrest of Mark Moran, 57, of Plymouth. Initial indications are that during the confrontation with the other operator, Moran allegedly struck the other vehicle several times with a baseball bat, according to state police.
He was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and destruction of property over $250.
The second operator involved is a 46-year-old man from Carver. He has not been charged. There are no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
