Apple has released RC for iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3, as well as tvOS 15.3 and watchOS 8.4. An update that, if we continue with the pace of changes from the previous version, should not bring anything new, but it should finish adjusting some points.

A maintenance beta

After the long list of changes we saw in the previous version, version 15.2, which brought us Hide my mail to Mail, search in Apple Music lists and improvements in Macro mode, to name a few examples, at the both the first and the second beta of this cycle have arrived without further news.

We don’t know what Apple’s plans are for this update, since, among other things, we are waiting for Universal Control to arrive. However, with what we have seen so far, and in the case of an RC, we would be facing a maintenance update, which could leave the news for later.

At the same time, a few days ago, the certificate of the new Xcode Cloud service gave an expiration alert in the latest version of Xcode, so the possible landing of this new service is expected as soon as possible.

If we want to enter the beta cycle, we can do so by following these steps, but we must bear in mind that we are talking about development versions that contain errors.

Already in the beta cycle, we will find the update in the Settings app as an OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple’s servers may receive more requests than usual, so the wait time may be longer.
