Q Acoustics has announced the launch of the M20 speakers, a compact, self-powered type model that is aimed at users looking to assemble a stereo set for listening to music, but also to complement our computers and televisions.

With dimensions of 279 x 170 x 296mm, it is a discreetly designed enclosure with a master-slave junction configuration based on conventional copper cables, with each enclosure offering a classic two-way topology.

Each speaker has a 125mm diameter mid-bass driver and 22mm tweeter which together achieve a frequency response between 55Hz and 22kHz with a filter 2.4 kHz. In addition, a 2×65 watt RMS amplifier stage is included.

Each speaker incorporates a bass-reflex port with a rear air outlet and a P2P (Point to Point) anchoring system to secure the internal elements and prevent vibrations.

The speakers come with bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD to send music from mobiles at 24bit / 48kHz, but we also have USB input to connect it to PC and play 24bit / 192kHz content , a 24-bit / 192kHz digital optical input, as well as an RCA analog stereo input and a subwoofer output.

In addition, it offers a simple equalizer as a lever that optimizes the sound depending on whether you have the speakers installed next to the corners, near a wall or separate.

Pricing and availability

Q Acoustics’ M20 speakers will go on sale this month at a price of 499 euros a pair.
