Police are investigating an alleged threat to graduation made by a Plymouth South High School student.
According to Lieutenant Dana Flynn, the 16-year-old male threatened to “shoot up graduation.” It wasn’t clear which graduation he was referring to or how serious the threat was. Flynn did not know how the threat was made or who reported it to police.
As a precaution, a firearm in the boy’s home was taken by police, Flynn said. The boy’s grandfather owned the gun, which was properly licensed and secured, he added.
