Plymouth South Middle School class makes plans to raise money for hurricane victims

Jonathan Hall’s 8th grade civic history classes have hit the ground running this school year with a service learning project to help the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

The students brainstormed ideas of how to help and chose to design bracelets to be sold in Plymouth to raise money for the Red Cross. The students will present their proposal to the class and then vote on the best choice based on design, cost and profit margin.

Bracelets will hopefully be sold in all Plymouth schools as well as online through a website designed and by one of Mr. Hall’s students. Bracelets should be on sale within a few weeks.

What is this?
