4:19 p.m. Suspicious activity on State Road

7:00 p.m. Traffic complaint on State Road

Savery Pond Road woman, 35, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a license and possession of a class B substance.

8:21 p.m. General disturbance on Patriot Circle

Maliza Egan, 25, of Savery’s Lane was arrested after allegedly throwing a chair at a door, damaging it. She was charged with malicous destruction of property over $250 and disturbing the peace. A Patriot Circle man 33, allegedly interfered with the arrest and was charged with resisting arrest and disturbing the peace.

3:36 p.m. General disturbance on Brook Road

4:09 p.m. Motor vehicle accident on Long Pond Road

6:01 p.m. Fraud on Long Pond Road

A woman, who lives on Silver Birch Avenue, reported she got a threatening phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. The caller reportedly demanded payment of back taxes in the form of Walmart gift cards. The alleged victim says she complied, paying $1,500.

Arrests

Michael Hurney, 42, of Bartlett Road was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery out of Rhode Island and was charged as a fugitive from justice on April 3 at Obery Street.
