Plymouth Pilgrims add to infield for 2017 season

The Plymouth Pilgrims have added a pair of infielders to their roster for the 2017 season, according to a press release from the team.

Patrick Dorrian from Lynn University was drafted by the Atlanta Braves out of high school in 2014, but opted to attend Herkimer College before transferring to Lynn. A shortstop, he played last year with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League.

First baseman Patrick McColl plays for Harvard University where he he .261 with six doubles and 21 RBI his freshmen year. McColl is part of an extremely smart & athletic family. His father, Milt, played 8 seasons in the NFL before becoming an orthopedic surgeon, his grandfather, Bill also played 8 seasons in the NFL before becoming an orthopedic surgeon as well.
