Plymouth man rescues two at White Horse Beach

A man and his dog were rescued by a good samaritan Sunday morning at White Horse Beach.

According to Captain John Rogers, a 40-year-old New Hampshire man went into the water to get his dog, which swam out too far. Witnesses saw the man and dog struggling to swim back and yelled for help, Rogers said. A 40-year-old Plymouth man who was fishing from his boat saw the pair and helped them into his boat. He then returned them to shore.

Rogers declined to identify the two men. The dog’s name is Kodi.
