We have already seen the Philips TV models for 2022. A range with IMAX-compatible OLED EX panels to which will be added new models with Mini LED panels. 4K televisions composed of a model in three variants, depending on its diagonal.

This is the Philips PML9507, a TV set to arrive throughout 2022 in 55, 65 and 75 inch diagonals, which could be considered the most common sizes today. A model based on the use of Mini LED technology.

Specifications… that are not lacking

The Philips PML9507 Mini LED TV range will be available throughout 2022. It consists of three TVs, all with the same features and only differentiated by the diagonal of the screen. Here are the three models:

Inside, the Philips PML9507 series features the P5 AI Perfect Picture Engine Gen 6 processor based on the MediaTek MT9970B chipset. The processor is supported by 4 GB of RAM and is complemented by 16 GB of storage.

The Philips PML9507 range uses VA panels and a FALD backlight system. To these specifications they add a refresh rate of 120 Hz and compatibility with HDR10 +, HDR10 + Adaptive, HLG and Dolby Vision. Additionally, like OLED models, IMAX is also supported. They offer 9% DCI-P3 color coverage and 1500 nits peak brightness and support AMD FreeSync Premium.

The audio system is 2.1 channels thanks to a set of 40 W speakers and a 30 W subwoofer compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS Play-Fi. They also have Android TV 11 as the operating system and are compatible with voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant.

These televisions have the 4-sided Ambilight lighting system and in the connections section they opt for two HDMI 2.1 inputs, two HDMI 2.0, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, a LAN port and a headphone jack.
