It was reported that 1 person died and 4 people were injured after the explosion of an oil tanker underway in an area close to residential areas in Thailand.

The Tanker, Which Was Moving Towards The Capital Of Thailand , Bangkok and carrying 3 million liters of crude oil, exploded as it passed through the Chao Phraya river, around which there are settlements.

While the tanker caught fire after the explosion, 1 of the 15 crew members on board lost their lives and 4 others were injured.

The situation was brought under control with the arrival of many aid teams to the scene.

After the first investigations, it was stated that the explosion may have occurred due to a fire that started in the anchor room in the front of the ship, and it was reported that there was no oil spill from the ship to the river.
