OBITUARY: Robert Guidaboni, 72, US Army Veteran, inducted into Plymouth-Carver Hall of Fame

Robert Guidaboni of Plymouth died on July 15.

He was the beloved husband of Mary –Ellen (Moon) Guidaboni. Loving father Jay Guidaboni and his wife Michelle of Plymouth and John Guidaboni and his wife Brittany of Plymouth. Brother of Betty Dallman and her husband Larry of Plymouth. Uncle of Michele Sachetti.

Born in Plymouth on February 22, 1943 a son of the late Mando and Celia (Scrocco) Guidaboni. He was educated in the Plymouth Schools. He served with the US Army and later went to work for Commonwealth Electric. Robert was active with sports during high school playing baseball, football and basketball and was inducted in the Plymouth – Carver Hall Of Fame. He was a life member of the Cold Spring Club.

Sincere appreciation of friends’ visits over the past 12 years after his terrible accident while jogging. Bobby showed great faith and courage to deal with his severe injuries.

Funeral from the Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Manomet on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church, State Road, Manomet at 10 a.m., Visiting hours on Friday from 5 till 8 p.m. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Plymouth.
