OBITUARY: Pauline Romandetta-Postrk, 84, nursery school teacher, enjoyed cooking and mystery novels

Pauline (Fedyk) Romandetta-Postrk, 84, died at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

She was the devoted wife of William M. Postrk of Plymouth. Born in Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (Postrk) Fedyk.

She was educated at City College of New York. Pauline had worked in the educational field for most of her life as a nursery school teacher in New York. She had also in later years worked as an accountant for Volkswagen.

Pauline moved to Plymouth four years ago, previously residing in Pearl River, New York.

Her hobbies included cooking for her family and friends, gardening, and reading mystery novels.

In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her daughter Julie Romandetta of Braintree, and her “grandcat” Sophie. She also leaves her brother George Fedyk of Mesquite, Nevada and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Bailey, and her first husband, Vincent Romandetta.  Interment was Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth.
