OBITUARY: Addison Jennings, 94, veteran, accountant, musician

Addison L. Jennings, of Plymouth formerly of Norton, died on September 30 at Jordan Hospital at the age of 94.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years Bojan (Hamlin) of Plymouth and his children Hamlin M. Jennings and his wife Glenys of Cambridge, Nora Lyn Wohlfeld and her husband Michael of Encinitas, California and Constance T. Jennings-Lane and her husband William of Concord. He also leaves his 4 cherished grandchildren- Ashley, Katherine, Grace and Selena.

Addison was born in Port Jefferson, New York and lived in Mount Kisco, New York where he graduated from Mount Kisco High School. After high school, Addison graduated from Harvard University in 1940 and Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1942. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Addison was a Certified Public Accountant in Taunton for many years and enjoyed music, playing the piano, chess, painting, sailing, astronomy and especially spending time with his family.

There are no visiting hours and burial will be private. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 20 at 11 a.m. in the May Room in Mary Lyon Hall at Wheaton College in Norton.
