FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH

THURSDAY MORNING…

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING

* A VERY MOIST AIRMASS AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT WILL

RESULT IN RAIN WITH LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS

OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY UP TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WILL OCCUR TONIGHT AND MAY BE FOCUSED

ALONG A LINE OF HEAVY SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING

THROUGH THE REGION AFTER MIDNIGHT THROUGH DAYBREAK CHRISTMAS

MORNING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL RATES ARE POSSIBLE.

* AREAS OF SIGNIFICANT URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING ARE THE

PRIMARY THREAT.
