Nathan Hale Center, Pilgrim Station emergency planning get state money

The Manomet-based Nathan Hale Veterans’ Outreach Center will receive $200,000 in state funds, according to a statement released by Senator Vinny deMacedo’s office.

Local legislators also gained approval for $125,000 to fund emergency response and readiness training. This funding will support training for first responders while creating a radiological response and recovery plan  in the event of a disaster at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant, according to deMacedo’s office.
