NAD Electronics has announced the launch of a new amplifier and streaming player with the aim of satisfying users looking for compact and easy-to-use equipment that can be installed in almost any part of the room.

This is the NAD Masters M10 v2, a model which follows the philosophy of the manufacturer “Just Add Speakers” and which basically integrates all the necessary electronics under its case in the purest musical chain style, with the exception of the top. -speakers, which must be purchased separately, both in conventional stereo version and with the possibility of also adding a subwoofer to improve low frequencies.

The equipment offers an amplification power of 100 watts RMS per channel and the sound output of the subwoofer can be configured and controlled from the BluOS Controller app, which also allows us to establish a sound system of up to 4, 2 channels if we have more compatible speakers or amplifiers.

For this, the M10 V2 is able to transmit the sound signal wirelessly to the rear channels, eliminating the need to run cables around the room. In addition, the BluOS streaming system allows us to access locally stored music with 24-bit / 192kHz quality (e.g. on network hard drives or NAS) as well as online services and stations like Amazon Music. Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz or Marée.

7 inch IPS display and HDMI eARC

In addition to the control via the mobile app and the front buttons that we can perform using the equipment’s 7-inch IPS LCD-LED main screen as an interface, an infrared remote control is also offered and the possibility of using voice commands via the virtual assistants Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

The equipment features an aluminum chassis with Gorilla glass top and sides as well as a Dirac Live room acoustic correction system with internal calibrated microphone that helps to capture acoustic anomalies in the room, helping to correct any spikes caused by the acoustic properties of the room up to 500 Hz. In addition, it can record up to 5 audio profiles, creating a more personalized experience for different use cases.

The amplifier is compatible with AirPlay 2, Bluetooth aptX HD, is Roon Ready and can be integrated into the connected home ecosystems of Apple, Control4, Crestron and Lutron among others. Connectivity is complemented by RCA analog, optical and coaxial digital inputs, HDMI eARC and USB Type A.

Pricing and availability

The new NAD Masters M10 v2 streaming player-amplifier will arrive in Spain in the coming weeks for a price of around 2,999 euros.
