Microsoft has a hot fall on its hands. Along with the release of Windows 11 which could be a few weeks early, new devices are also likely to arrive. This is the case of a new Surface Duo and the successor to the Surface Go 2, the company’s affordable tablet, whose specifications are already circulating thanks to Geekbench.
With possible launches already close in time, it is not surprising that Microsoft is already in the home stretch to test its new models and that Geekbench is a good database and information. In this sense, Roland Quandt discovered the specifications of what could be the Surface Go 3.
Included with Windows 11
Surface Go “3”? : the new Microsoft hardware based on Intel “Amber Lake” -Y Pentium Gold 6500Y and Core i3-10100Y has been in testing since at least April: https://t.co/EdBD2wdU8X

It is for the moment an unknown model. And while there is no reference to the Microsoft or Surface brands, Quandt, of WinFuture.ed, indicates that the data includes “OEMAL Product Name DV1.1”, an identification similar to that used by Microsoft when it tested other models in Geekbench.
Additionally, there are two possible configurations of the new models, with hardware that would fit in with the logic of what to expect for the successor to the Surface Go 2, a model we remember, launched in 2020.
Thus, the new discovered devices use an Intel Pentium Gold 6500Yv processor with 4 GB of RAM on one side and an Intel Core i3 10100Y quad-core processor with 8 GB of RAM in the most powerful model.
In the first case, it is one of the new Amber Lake models from Intel, a dual-core x86 processor with a base frequency of 1.1 GHz which can reach 3.4 GHz thanks to TurboBoost. The second case uses an Intel Core i3-10100Y processor, also Amber Lake, which is now a quad-core x86 processor with a 1.3 GHz base clock that can reach 3.9 GHz via turbo mode.
Both models significantly improve the performance figures of the Surface Go 2, but there is still a lot to be seen. And it is that although there is no official information, it is very likely that Microsoft will accompany the arrival of Windows 11 with new computers. Models including this Surface Go 3 or a successor to the Surface Pro 7.
