A 21-year-old Manomet woman was killed in a head-on car crash on Beaver Dam Road, late Friday night.

She was transported by helicopter to Tufts Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. According to Captain John Rogers. A 24-year-old passenger in the Hyundai Elantra was taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital. He was then taken to Beth Israel Deaconess-Boston Rogers said. The driver of the other car, a 34-year-old Manomet woman was also taken to South Shore Hospital and then Beth Israel Deaconess-Boston, Rogers said. Both are in serious, but stable, condition he added.

The accident is under investigation, according to Rogers, who declined to give any details, except that the woman who died was heading northeast at the time.
