Two people were arrested Monday night in Shallow Pond Estates in connection with a series of out-of-town break ins.
According to Captain John Rogers, police arrested Jackalyn Kelleher, 50 and Jason Parsons, 34, at the request of the Middleborough and Rochester police departments. Both are listed as residing on Barbara’s Way.
While Kelleher was arrested without trouble, Parsons reportedly led police on what Rogers described as a brief foot chase. After he was caught, he complained of a foot injury and was taken to Jordan Hospital, where he was allegedly found in possession of heroin and alprazolam, a prescription drug.

Parsons was charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute and possession of a class C substance. He was also charged with disturbing the peace after allegedly making a scene at the hospital. There was also a warrant for his arrest on a charge of breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony.
