LG has a new member set to expand its projector lineup. This is the CineBeam HU715Q, an ultra-short-throw model, similar to the CineBeam HU85LA, both in terms of design and some features that we are now getting to know.
The CineBeam HU715Q is a processor that relies on a compact design thanks to its rectangular monobloc shape. A team with measurements of 533 x 315 x 153 millimeters which hides a Quad Core processor capable of generating 4K resolution and which serves to power an operating system based on webOS in version 6.0.

The LG CineBeam HU715Q hides inside a DLP chip capable of offering 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) obtained thanks to eXpanded Pixel Resolution (XPR). This system recreates four pixels for each of the 1920 x 1080 pixel micromirrors.

Regarding the connections, there are three HDMI inputs, including two HDMI 2.0b with the ability to support 4K at 60 Hz with 24 Gbps in 4:4:4 10-bit. It also uses two USB-A 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, an optical digital output, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which improve the sound by adding two speakers as rear satellites and thus creating a 4.2 channel system. .
For control, this projector incorporates the Magic Remote, a backlit remote control with an integrated microphone that allows us to interact with Alexa. It is also compatible with the connected home of LG ThinQ and Apple HomeKit.
