Learn about Lyme Disease at the Wildlands Trust

Lyme Disease is the most prevalent infectious disease in Massachusetts and is now considered to be a public health crisis, but tick-borne diseases are preventable.

Join Entomologist Larry Dapsis at the Wildlands Trust, 675 Long Pond Road, on May 23 at 7 p.m. for a presentation in the Community Conservation Barn to better understand the basic life cycle and ecology of deer ticks, occurrence of tick-borne illnesses, and how to protect yourself, your yard and your pet.

Dapsis joins us from the where he is the Deer Tick Project Coordinator and Entomologist for the  Cape Cod Cooperative Extension, and is a member of the Barnstable County Task Force on Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
