In November of last year, Huawei launched the Huawei Nova 8 SE. Now comes the Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition, which despite what its name might suggest, the truth is that it has little to do with the standard version.

Interestingly, the Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition mounts the 2018 Kirin 710A, a mid-range processor from three years ago. Other sections are more interesting, such as support for 40W fast charging.

Kirin 710 Returns

In 2018 and 2019, Huawei used the Kirin 710 everywhere. We thought we would not hear from him again for a season, and then he reappears already in the middle of 2021 in the new Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition has little to do with the normal version, with most of its different specifications and also its design. The screen is LCD, with a diagonal of 6.6 inches and a resolution of Full HD +, with the perforated front camera centered.

The camera for selfies has a resolution of 16 megapixels, while behind the terminal has a triple camera. This is one of the main differences with the Huawei Nova 8 SE, which had a quad camera. In the Vitality Edition model, the main camera is 48 megapixels, with a macro sensor of 2 megapixels and a sensor for portrait mode, also of 2 megapixels.

As for the battery, it incorporates one with a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports fast charging of 40 W, one of the strengths of the two Nova 8 SEs (it was 66 W in the standard model) . The fingerprint reader is on the side.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition not only launches with a bit outdated processor, but it also brings Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 under the arm, also a bit dated. The terminal has a mini-plug.
